On the Run Schedule board, planners drag production orders between areas, lines and assets. The rules for each product line are checked on the drop, so the board tells you before an order lands on a line that can’t run it. A scheduling Agent followed in July. It watches the schedule and proposes reschedules when something changes, including straight after an approved quality hold. In this release, every proposal goes to a person for approval.
