Workflow Modules
Ask a question and get the exact passages from your Knowledge Library documents and video, ranked by relevance, with the source attached.
Passage and citation
Open the citation and read the source yourself. The answer streams in as it arrives.
Query rewrite
Each question becomes its own fresh search. A follow-up still knows what you just asked. An old topic from earlier in the thread stays out of the new results.
Retrieval trace
A thin first pass doesn’t end the search. It reframes your query and tries again, inside a set call, turn and time budget. Every pass is recorded for you to check.
Video search
Training footage and recorded walkthroughs get transcribed and indexed with everything else. The answer cites the video and the timestamp. You find the clip without watching the whole hour.
Refusal
When your sources don’t hold the answer, you get a straight refusal. It tries one recovery pass with a reframed query first. If your question is ambiguous, it asks you to clarify before it answers.
Retrieval scope
Retrieval runs on mode40’s own retrieval platform, while the Singularity keeps your conversation, permissions, and sources. Your company gets one tenant with its own encrypted key, and you reach it today through the Ask tab.
The documents and video in your Knowledge Library collections, and nothing else. It does not read machines, and it does not read the internet.
You get a refusal that says so. One recovery attempt runs with a reframed query before the refusal stands.
No. The Retrieval Engine finds and ranks the passages. The Q&A Engine holds the conversation and delivers the answer.
No. Each company gets its own tenant with its own key, held encrypted at rest.
30 minutes on your documents and how the Retrieval Engine cites the exact passage.
