An Agent proposes a deviation approval. Who let it do that?

A written rule per action, and a queue for everything else.

Old way

nobody can say what any automated system is allowed to decide on its own.

New way

the Authority Matrix writes down exactly what each Agent may do alone, and checks it every time before the Agent runs.

  • Anything outside that rule waits in the Approval Queue, oldest first, for a named person.

Every decision has a person's name on it.

The rule gets written before an Agent runs, and the name goes on the decision after.

  1. Authority Matrix

Sets what each Agent may do alone, written down.

  2. Governance

Checks every action against that rule before it runs.

  3. Approval Queue

Holds everything else, oldest first, for a person.

  4. Production Planning (Planner)

One of the Agents doing the work inside the rule.

  5. Historian

Keeps the decision, so the audit trail writes itself.

Who gets to say yes on your floor?

30 minutes on what your Agents could do alone and what should wait for a person. You'll see the Approval Queue you'd have on day one.
