Foundational Modules
Set up your site's areas, lines, assets, routing, tools and shifts once, in site configuration. Every other Module reads it instead of keeping its own list.
How it works
Site configuration holds your site’s areas, production lines, assets and inventory locations, along with routing, tools, shifts, planned downtime and changeover times. Every other Module reads this same configuration instead of keeping its own copy. It fills in the plant model mode40 sets up with you during implementation.
What you get
You define each area of the site, and the production lines inside it, using the names your floor already uses. An asset attaches to the line it runs on. The filler on Line 3 sits under Line 3.
Every asset record carries the site, area and line it belongs to, so you always know where it sits. Inventory locations record where material is held, from the pallet rack behind Line 3 to the warehouse. You edit both in the same site configuration.
You set the steps a product moves through, line by line, in the order the work actually happens. Each step carries a time, so a plan knows how long the path takes. Routing sits right beside the areas and lines it runs across.
Tools
You record each tool against the site that runs it. A routing step can then name the exact one it needs, like the mold a step on Line 3 calls for. Tools are edited beside the areas, lines and assets.
Shift calendar
Recurring shifts set the normal week for a site. Daily shifts, planned downtime and the site calendar record what actually happens: an extra Saturday shift, or the week Line 2 is down for maintenance. Both live in the same place.
Changeover matrix
A changeover matrix records how long a line takes to move from one product to the next. For example, the time Line 3 takes to switch from one SKU to another. It’s held per site, beside the lines it applies to, and edited in the same place as the shifts.
Scoping
An administrator configures a site once. Other Modules read that same configuration and keep no list of their own. Add a line in one place, and every Module that scopes to the site reads it.
Areas, lines, and the assets on them are set up once, named the way people on the floor already say them. Every other Module scoped to that site reads the same list.
A changeover matrix records how long a line takes to move from one product to the next, held per site beside the lines it applies to. Every schedule reads the same numbers.
No. You describe the site you already run: its areas, production lines, assets and inventory locations.
Areas, production lines, assets and inventory locations, plus routing, tools, shifts, planned downtime, the calendar and changeover times.
In the same site configuration. Recurring shifts, daily shifts, planned downtime and the calendar sit beside the areas and lines.
The Asset Registry holds the record for each asset. Site configuration holds where that asset sits, plus the routing and shifts around it.
